Bung is a village in the mountains of Nepal. In 2013 a three day temporary health camp was held there and provided free health care to everybody who was in need of it. The book «Bung» documents people immediately after they got their treatment. The result is a touching insight into the life in the mountain regions of Nepal. All proceeds of the book are donated to the hospital in Lukla.

To tell the story we decided to make a book. The book is a production of JETHA MAILA. «Jetha» (Rolf Loepfe) means «firstborn son of the family», «Maila» (Rob Lewis) means «second son of the family». These names were given to us by our Nepalese friends. Since 2011 we have been actively involved with charitable and humanitarian projects in the Himalayas, in collaboration with the Nicole Niquille Fondation. 100% of the proceeds from this book went to the LUHMA project to support further Health Camps in remote regions of the Himalayas.
